JANE SHIN – CEO
Jane Shin is the CEO of Chosen Industries, a boutique, full-service commercial contracting management firm. Jane started her journey at a prominent defense contractor in operations as a problem solver, and quickly rose through the ranks. Her work culminated with facility close-outs, when ownership made the decision to retire after 40 years in the industry.
Despite being a minority executive in a male-dominated field, Jane has never let that stop her from reaching for the stars. She is a go-getter who loves reading books about crazy survival stories–anything to remind her that she’s alive and kicking!
Welcome to Chosen Industries. I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
Olga Alcaraz – Chief of Staff
An experienced problem-solver with a knack for understanding people and motivating them–and the company–to achieve their goals.
After two decades of working in Corporate America, she always felt like she didn’t have a proper seat at the table. At Chosen Industries she not only has a seat as Chief of Staff, but she is a part of the solution to drive inclusivity. Her goal as Chief of Staff is to support the company by building relationships nationally and with the local Tampa area community and providing value-driven results to ensure that it runs smoothly while also driving results, stimulating growth, and increasing the organization’s overall efficiency.
She will work hard to promote inclusivity by encouraging a sense of community in which everyone feels supported and heard. Her philosophy is to ensure that there is room for everyone and that teams should be diverse and inclusive, reflective of our society. She loves to serve and bring kindness and equity to all who she meets.
In addition to her passion for helping others discover their gifts and pursuing their dreams, Olga’s personal passion is philanthropy. Through professional access, she has actively participated in numerous organizations such as God’s Love We Deliver, City Meals on Wheels, Feeding Tampa Bay, and building classrooms in Africa and Nicaragua.
